Third round of introductions, Deborah, Marlene and Linda.

Further introductions are in order. Also a new member of our team, it is now time to introduce

Deborah

Deborah will be joining us from the 6th of February.

Here is what she has to say about herself:

Hello My name is Deborah, and I'm thrilled to join the team. This is my first design team I have joined although I am to start another shortly. I started my crafting journey around March last year. Although I would draw and paint as a child. I enjoy all forms of art and crafting including art journalling, card making altered art and painting on canvas. I also love to play with all mediums. I think my style is electric at present as my journey takes me to all forms of art, and just when I think I've discovered all there, is I find something else.

Marlene

Marlene will be joining us soon.

Here is what she has to say about herself:

My name is Marlene I live in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland, I am originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, we came up here 25 years ago, we love it here, a great place to bring Children up. I love making cards and my Grandson who is 12 did think about applying for the junior DT, but wasn't sure if he could commit himself to making cards for the Challenges, maybe next time, when he is here with us, we work together, he makes his own with no help from me. I started making cards in 2011, and since then I have become addicted to them.
Yesterday (26.12) it was my Birthday, so I had a lovely relaxing day and I got some Crafting goodies, so can't wait to use them. I am really looking forward to working with you all.

Linda will be joining us from the 9th of January.

Here is what she has to say about herself:

I have been a card maker for many years (approx 13 yrs ). I am lucky to sell my cards in a local shop and also run a card making group once a week, where 15 plus ladies attend. I am a DT member on the glitter n sparkle challenge.

I am also a carer for my mum x

Hi everybody!

I'm Monica, one of the new members. I'm thrilled to be part of this team and I hope to do a good job!

I hope to have a bit more time once these holidays (plus my daughter's and my mom's birthday parties) are over... I look forward to January 07 when school opens its doors again!

In the meantime, I wish you all the best for a wonderful 2014 and I'll try to have a card ready for the very first challenge of the new year!

I am Sujin (one of the newbies) and am totally thrilled and honored to be on the team.

I live in Germany and I always loved to craft like modelling little figures using Fimo, baking, cross stitching…

I started card-making about three years ago when I bought my first stamp ever

I really look forward to getting to know you and to work with you

Here are our first introductions.

Abby (13) - junior DT

Abby will be joining us as one of our junior DT members, which means she will do a project whenever she has time in her busy school schedule and inspiration to make something.

Here is what she has to say about herself:

My name is Abby. I am 13 years old and have been crafting with my mom ever since I was little. I love to make cards and alter items. Besides crafting I love to read, do things with my friends and spend time with my family.

Silvi aka Basslady

Silvi will be joining us from the 6th of February every 2 weeks as she has a rather busy schedule.

Here is what she has to say about herself:

I’d love to give you a quick introduction of myself...

My name is Silvi, I am 42 years old and live in Germany (Bavaria).

The name of my blog „Basslady Creations“ is a mixture of my two beloved hobbies: creating and bass-playing...

My creative „first love“ is the napkin-technique, which I very often use
for canvas, tea-lights, plates, bottles and many things more...

I have been a stamper since about 5 years....

My card-style is more clean and simple, than full of embellishments...
I love to be focused on a few things...maybe that is typically bass-player-like...
who needs six strings, if you can create a cool sound with four strings...? *LOL*

I am so honoured, excited and absolutely happy to be invited by you to work with you lovely ladies!

My name is Helen and I've been a card maker for many years. I particularly love stamping and Promarkers and my style is mostly clean and simple. I work for my local Abbeyfield Society as an activities coordinator and also teach card making workshops for Little Claire at weekends. As well as Little Claire, I'm also lucky enough to design for Pink Gem, Nutcrafters, Crafts-Too and Card Creations Plus and I'm part of the team for several challenge blogs.

I am sure these ladies will be a wonderful addition to our team. Welcome on board ladies!
