(Sorry, this is a rather very long post!)

Can you believe it? We are already 4 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time. I am the only one still left from the original team (Jo) and have been lucky to have such a lot of very talented (G)DT members help me keep this challenge blog going. Our main aim has continually been to HAVE FUN!

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?

Now, how can you get to win any of the prizes provided by our sponsors?

That is easy! Just follow the route on our blog hop (you can also find that in our side banner), Our Blog Hop lasts for the duration of this challenge, which means a closing time of Wednesday 6pm GMT on the 15th of May 2013.

And here are our little rules for this challenge/blog hop:

  • Our challenge this week is Birthday
  • Create something with this in mind
  • Add your project to our Inlinkz below to be in with a chance of being one of our Top3 and win a prize from Karen's Doodles
  • Follow the route of the Blog Hop
  • Add your project to the Inlinkz at each of these stops to be in with a chance of winning the prize advertised on that blog
  • Collect the letters on this and the blogs on the blog hop
  • Form a sentence with these letters
  • Return to our challenge blog and put your winning sentence in our comments under the post.
  • We will enable comment moderation for the duration of this challenge/blog hop to ensure there is no cheating, lol.
  • And the main rule: HAVE FUN!
  • Not got a blog? Don't worry, as long as you have an online gallery somewhere, you can used the link to that gallery for your 'url'. If you want to enter the challenge, but don't have a blog, you can also e-mail your card to us and we can add it to our blog of e-mail entries. However the closing time for that is earlier (3pm GMT on the 15th!). You can then use that url to add to the Inlinkz at the other blogs if you wish.
  • You can choose to either enter the challenge (add to Inlinkz here), enter the blog hop (add to Inlinkz at the stops and enter the sentence in comments below) or do both.

    Here is what I found missing (at least for me when I viewed the blogs] - just letting you know - maybe others were successful:

    1. Carol - I cannot link up - linky is there but will not work for me - I cannot click on it nor can I leave a comment - as I cannot click on that either - The Letter is visible
    2. Evis - No posting for the hop- no letter - no linky
    3. Hazel - Letter is visible - No Linky
    4. Rick St Dennis - no link he sends us to Hazel DT site to link up but no linky on the DT site
    5. Saskia No Linky
    6. Sylvia No Visible Letter - Linky is there

    i cannot find the numbers displayed on nikki's and sylvia's blog,please check it , a doubt , do we need to count AL at the top of bloghop and again AL at the bottom of bloghop for CRAFT challenge blog twice for completing the sentence,finding it hard :)

      I have asked them to check and amend their posts.
      As CRAFT Challenge is 2 of the stops, we have added 2 letters. Hope that clears that up sufficiently. Sorry, no more pointers here, it needs to remain a bit of a challenge, lol.

    A very Happy Birthday and what a great hop it´s been, except from a couple of girls, who´s letters wasn´t displayed, but only found an empty frame with no picture in it. It was Nikki and Sylvia.
    And then I still haven´t heard, if it´s only for people with blogs, or there´s another way we can add our names to the list???

      Hi Maryann, thanks for letting us know, I have made them aware of it to allow them to try and amend their posts. I understand Sylvia tried for a very long period to sort it, but has been unsuccessful so far, please check again later.
      As to your question, I have clarified that further in the post after your query.
      1. Yes you can enter the card challenge by e-mail (for Top3), but closing time in that case is earlier to allow us to add it to the e-mail entries blog. You could use that link also for the hop Inlinkz if you like or any url of an online gallery you have.

      Hope that clarifies it.

    Finished blog hop. Had difficulty with several of the sites. Had to use Internet Explorer when I could not get access with Moxzilla Firefox which is what I usually use. Not sure about sentence.

    Happy Birthday! I completed the blog hop and enjoyed everyone's cards a lot... Unfortunately there was quite a lot of difficulties with pages not opening and linky tool being missing but after going back and forth several times I think I've linked everywhere and commented on everyone's blogs. Still not sure about the sentiment though -English is not my mother tongue so let's see: I think it is "Spectacular Blog Hop!". If I'm wrong, I'd love it if you'd contact me at korttikarkuri @ gmail . com and I could keep on trying...

    THanks for a great blog hop. Had a few issues with linking up on three of the blogs. Carols blog the linky button doesn't work at all - I tried refreshing the page and going back later but still didn't work. Jeanette's blog linked up but doesn't show it in the list - tried again and it came up with the message that it already exists! So, it must be there somewhere. Saskia's blog when I click on the linky thingy it comes up with Webpage not found.
    Now I'm off to figure out what this tricky little sentence might be!

    I made it all the way through the hop but cannot for the life of me work out the sentence. A clue might have been useful!

    I do hope you will put us out of our misery when this finishes because this is going to bug me now, lol

    Happy Birthay to CRAFT! It was very difficult to navigate thru the hop....lot of links were not working and at lot of the blogs I had to search for the post relating to this hop...Link went to the blog not the post. Afraid I will not have any time left to figure out the sentence. Almost gave up at Hazel's blog but persevered. Maybe the next blog hop will be made easier.
