C.R.A.F.T 61 - Hot and Spicy Colours!

As we don't seem to be getting any 'real' summer at the moment, we at C.R.A.F.T have decided to create our own! Yeah, we're fed up of the miserable weather so we want you lot to come up with something Hot & Spicy!

You can use any genre you like, you can stamp, decoupage, knit, make a scrapbook layout or otherwise express yourself but your creation must be in Hot & Spicy colours.

Think of reds, oranges, hot pinks, golden yellows! We'll even allow you a little tiny bit of contrasting lime, lemon and turquoise but the overall effect must be steaming hot!

We have a fab sponsor for this week! Rosemary Merry's 'Crabapple Crafts' are offering a fab prize to the winner of this week's challenge so it would be good to see some summer holiday scrapbook layouts!

As tv's (...and certainly mine...!) favourite Scrapbooker, Rosemary always bring us great products in her own shop, Crabapple Crafts and on QVC and this August is no exception!

Rosemary will be appearing at the following times.

Crafts Creative Moments (the name of her relaunched shows)
3 August from 2.00pm - 4.00pm
3 August from 7.00pm - 8.00pm shared with USA guest Teresa Collins

American Crafts
16 August from 1.00pm - 2.00pm

Most of the products in all these shows haven't been seen before on QVC so it's going to be interesting and fun!

I personally love American Crafts (amongst others) and have a few of their stacks - the quality is just wonderful and the designs strong and contemporary - and Rosemary always presents an interesting show with lots of demos and inspiration.

We have a very talented new Guest Designer with us this week - take a bow Christa!
Chris has made this fab card with almost no notice so just imagine what she can do when we tell her in advance...!

Can't wait to see what projects you come up with - we need them to warm us up....! LOL!

The promise of summer has influenced this week's theme, it would appear!
Ice-cream and cakes! Mmmmmmmm.....! And though there is no collour-tie this week, I predict a landslide of pink & brown.....! LOL!

Cup-cakes seem to be very 'on trend' (...oooh! Did I sound like Dawn Bibby just then.....?) at the moment so I imagine most peeps have a stamp/die-cut/peel-off etc etc they can use for this.
