Challenge 188 - 3rd of January – Make your own backing paper

Good morning Thursday and a Very Happy New Year to you all! I hope you have all had a great time this Christmas and New Year. We are all looking forward to a great new year as we have some great sponsors and challenges lined up for you. And it will be our first challenge of 2013 today.

This week our challenge is to

Make Your Own Backing Paper

We hope you will enjoy this challenge as much as we have done. It's great fun to just be playing around with different mediums to get them sorted. We are very lucky this year, we have 4 sponsors lined up for nearly every challenge this year. As usual, there are no first, second, etc places for our winners, just first, second and etc drawn winners. The first winner will win the prize from the first sponsor, etc.

We also will be choosing our Top3 again as we did last year, I'm afraid no prizes will go with these places, but, who knows, we may be giving some prizes again in the run up to Christmas 2013. We will continue to choose a Star of the Month every month as well, who will win a prize from one of our sponsors and will be invited to join as as guest designer for a month as well.

I am a 41 year old happily married mum of two. Once my youngest child started school I knew I had to get back into the workforce but I was no longer interested in admin work so decided to create my own business with two of my best friends. We are all mad about scrapbooking and cardmaking and realized there were items we needed that weren’t available so it made sense to design our own line of products and that’s how our wholesale company, Flourish with a Bling was created. We personally design and name all our own designs and feel we have some really unique products and materials.
